Within all the familiar scenes of our daily lives it is easy to overlook the slightly different – peculiar even – scenery if you stop to think about it. This ongoing series is my attempt to become more aware of the funny little visuals I happen upon.
With global warming on the rise, deforestation, and new suburbs continually being built, we have been – and continue to impose – upon many animals – homes and routines. Is it possible to miss an individual one has never met, to love someone who cannot fully be fathomed? Is it possible to subconsciously leave a space for them in ones life despite the possibility that it may never be filled? This projects aim is to subtly externalize these intensely private and internal feelings.
